Visiting Spain – Invitation of the CFR of Ourense

Honored and deeply grateful for a truly unforgettable training, teaching, and learning experience, following the kind invitation of the CFR of Ourense (Centro de Formación e Recursos de Ourense) as an #Erasmus Guest Expert.
Warm congratulations to dear Isabel Blanco Pumar for the outstanding design, organization, and implementation of such an inspiring program.
I had the privilege of designing and delivering workshop sessions, collaborating with Spanish colleagues and students to explore successful European eTwinning projects, as well as practical approaches, methodologies, platforms, and tools that support the development of future-ready schools. Through interactive activities and meaningful discussions, we exchanged ideas, addressed real challenges, and reflected on ways to foster more collaborative and empowering school cultures.

15/4/2026 – Day 1
1st eTwinning Training Session – EOI Ourense
It was a pleasure to meet Patricia and her colleagues at EOI Ourense, where we explored successful eTwinning projects, shared experiences and good practices, and exchanged ideas for future collaborations.
2nd eTwinning Training Session – IES Chamoso Lamas, O Carballiño

I was delighted to meet Manuel Cuquexo, Erasmus Coordinator, and his colleagues at IES Chamoso Lamas. Together, we introduced the ESEP and eTwinning platforms, while sharing practical examples, tools, and methodologies. I especially enjoyed welcoming new colleagues to the micro:bit and Europeana platforms.

16/4/2026 – Day 2
A wonderful journey to the schools of CRA (Centro Rural Agrupado) Monterrei, Galicia, Spain, alongside Mónica Sandoval, Teresa, and their inspiring community of teachers and young learners.
The STEM projects we encountered were truly inspiring. Introducing #microbit to both students and teachers was a particularly rewarding experience.
The day concluded with an afternoon training session at the CFR of Ourense, where we introduced #ESEP, #eTwinning, #Scientix, #Europeana, and the STEM Discovery Campaign (#SDC26) to a group of highly motivated and passionate educators.

17/4/2026 – Day 3
Another enriching and inspiring experience.
Visiting EPAPU of Ourense—an innovative Adult Education Centre—offered a valuable opportunity to engage with dedicated teachers and learners who are actively shaping the future of education. I particularly appreciated the collaborative exploration of the Greek educational system and the thoughtful discussions comparing Greek and Spanish education systems.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to meet and work with such inspiring educators and students.
