DESCRIPTION:The theme for this conference is Constructionism and Creat
 ivity.\n \nWhat is more central to the constructionism than creativit
 y? We believe that modeling encourages and aids learners to personally
  create knowledge and meaning. We think, however, that we have not spe
 nt enough time focusing on creativity within the constructionist conte
 xt. Please help us make Constructionism 2014 the place where we do thi
 s.\n \nWe know that there are many conferences that look at the compl
 ex effects of the digital objects that surround us. Constructionists, 
 however, are dedicated to looking specifically at the effects of digit
 al tools on learning and creativity. Not just in mathematics and scien
 ce education but across disciplines. This is our remit: this is, we be
 lieve, the constructionist project.\n \nOf course, we are interested 
 in the development of digital tools and languages, too. The recent ups
 urge of interest in programming gives us an opportunity to talk about 
 our current computational environments, their outcomes and our plans f
 or the future developments.\n \nWe hope you will chose to spend some 
 time with us next summer in extraordinary Vienna.\n \nThe PDF version
